  • The IAEA Mobile Application Tool for Radiation Alarm and Commodity Evaluation (TRACE)
Trace.JPGThis mobile application is developed under the Coordinated Research Project (CRP) on Improved Assessment of Initial Alarms from Radiation Detection Instruments to enhance the capabilities of States to prevent, detect, and respond to incidents of the illicit trafficking and theft of nuclear and other radioactive material out of regulatory control and it covers the description of good containing Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM) used in international trades and Harmonized System Code (HS Code) and serves as a guidance for member States in proper assessment of radiation instrument alarms to combat the trans-boundary movement of nuclear and other radioactive material out of regulatory control.
It is available for download on Apple and Android devices.

  • The IAEA Isotope Browser Mobile Application Tool
Isotope.JPGProvided by the Nuclear Data Section of the International Atomic Energy Agency, the app gives properties of more than 4 000 nuclides and isomers. A Chart of Nuclides, with zooming and tapping enabled, and a Periodic Table of Elements are included to allow easy selection and navigation. Filter criteria on half-life, decay mode, radiation type and energy can be selected. Summary data are presented in a scrolling list, with a details page for each nuclide containing web links to the data sources and further information. The filtered nuclides can be visualised on the Chart of Nuclides. Data are taken from the most recent and reliable sources, and optimal search-and-retrieve performance is achieved with an embedded database, meaning that no network connection is required.
It is available for iOs and Android devices, in multiple languages.
